1st day of July and I'm going to grumble on my blog, sorry but I have to this. This is due to bad refereeing again in the match between Ger and Arg. Argentina was the better side and deserve to win, and with ballack playing dirty, the ref sided with host country so much so that the 2nd yellow card just won't come out. Besides, a similar situation happened like Por vs Mex whereby the guy is tripped and got cautioned for diving. Argentina deserve to get a penalty but the ref once again ruled it against them. Initially, I was hoping that both sides would meet in the finals but since they met in quarter-finals, I was like 'ok, either side go through also nevermind'. But after 10min into the match and after seeing how the ref sided Ger, I soon begin to detest the ref and Ger.
I would say Ger is lousy. Even with the ref's biasness in the match, they could only managed a draw in 90min. I'm kinda sad about Argentina going out partly because of the sub keeper who only dived the correct direction in the 1st kick. But nevertheless, I would praise lehman for his proness in saving penalties. But still, Argentina don't deserve to go out. Without that bias ref, it would have been a totally different story and Argentina could win 2-1. This world cup is screwed up, fifa not choosing one of the best refs(Shamsul) to officiate, refs are bias and stuff. I rather watch 2002 world cup where fairplay was in except for that few matches. This world cup is like every match also can see biasness in ref's decision.
Ita/Kor match, Ger/Arg match, Por/Mex match. These 3matches are the matches which I witness biasness in ref's decisions. Let Collina come back, cut out the age limit thing. This world cup is filled with bad refs, not only I say but many people also say. Even my mum who doesn't watch soccer watched with us the Ita/Kor match also say ref kayu. So, what else can be said? Fifa did not let Graham Poll officiate because of a careless blunder, that's fine. But what about Shamsul? Nevermind, I have lost hopes in enjoying world cup matches this yr thanks to the refs.
