Wahah..today was fun! Truly fun! I fulfilled my dream of taking bus to tour Singapore.
Called Amos and Sean at about 12.30 and ask if they would like to have a bus tour with me, they agreed and so we met at 2pm at Bedok interchange and took bus 30. During the trip which last about 1hour 45min, we played alternating rounds of bridge and big2, ate honey stars(courtesy of Amos) all the way to Boon Lay MRT. AT Boon Lay, which is both Sean's and mine 1st time there, we wanted to go to Jurong Point shopping centre. Stupid me, I thought Jurong Point was at Jurong East interchange! Luckily, Amos saw a bus going to Jurong Point from the station and is only 1stop away, so we went to see the locality map, man, it was only a 2min walk away.
Going into the shopping centre makes me feel like in Malaysia because of the layout and everything plus the long bus ride! So we walk about the 3storey building and went into an arcade only to see pro 'drifters' inside. But I believe they are a gang though with a 8-9year old boy spewing vulgarities like nobody's business. But the way they play Daytona was crazy, most probably they spent whole day there. After watching them play, it was time to get back, we went to Fairprice at the basement and man the queue was long! But we as victorians, queued up anyway and shared the snacks price among the 3of us. We bought the new flavoured pringles, calbee prawn crackers and seaweeds! On the way back to the interchange, 3girls approached us selling pens, and I must say they were racist man, only approach Amos and I but not Sean, they used the salesman tactic of 'si chan lan da'(don't know how to translate). I am sorry but I must say the way they approached, try to sell look purely nsk and s****y, yup.
So we took bus30 again and once up the upper deck, we commenced on alternating rounds of bridge and big2 again. All the way pass vivocity and back, I alighted at my house and it was 6.45pm and luckily, I was able to make it in time for my 7o'clock show. So we spend the whole afternoon traveling from the East to the West and back to East. Some may say it's lame, but to me, I find it quite fun and I think I would go on another bus tour next time for that's always 1of my dreams.=)
