Wahah..good good! Man utd win again and Chelsea drop points again, I know it's only half of the season gone but still I love it to see Man utd lead and extend the gap. Cristiano Ronaldo is awesome, scoring as many goals as Chelsea conceded in as many matches!

Selamat Hari Raya Haji! I know there is a story behind today's holiday. But I don't know what is it so I think it is very cruel of them to kill the sheeps infront of everyone for lamb. If it is a tradition, why not break the tradition or use alternatives instead of every year killing the large number of sheeps? It is cruel, cruel, cruel but don't think that I am criticising the religion, I am just stating what I think. I wonder why they don't kill pigs but kill sheeps instead. Sensitive topic, shall stop here.

Happy new year everyone!

Finally can blog! First observe a minute of silence for the 2heros who died to save the children in the 7.1magnitude Taiwan quake. The quake has indeed brought lots of troubles and problems to the world especially Asia where internet connections are cut-off and companies depending on internet to survive like online trading are all adversely affected. But I've learned something from this incident, I didn't know our internet are connected with underwater cables! That has been in my head for many years on how internet works, I thought is something like sending information to the satellites and then sending it to the site of whereever it is.

Also, nature is just so wonderful. Nature's call for disaster is so easy. Just shake the earth abit and disasters occur, just let the rain come down later abit and drought happens. Cool isn't it? No one can defy nature's call. Perhaps it's some sort of revenge that nature is taking on us humans who destroy its protective layer from the space, or hacking down the 'hairs' of nature for papers. Whatever it is, the temperature around the globe is rising every year. Who knows? If we stop all this industrialising and refrain from using cars, Singapore will have 4seasons in a million years time?

Humans are just like the little devils on earth going around destroying things. Even the innocent tigers and crocodiles are killed for their skin. 1day, mother nature will take its revenge on us once and for all to wipe out all the humans on earth. Good luck then.

I am still not sure of what subject combination I should take. Nevermind, still a few days before the deadline is reached.

I shall blog about Amos's housewarming event. Sean and I met at 6.30 at Simei mrt and as I did not prepare anything so I decided to contribute some chips, so we went to fairprice and bought a few packets of chips. Then we embark on our hike. After crossing the road, we went straight instead of left. We wanted to cross the big field but was scared that there will be mud and holes as it has been raining for the past few days, so we walk and walk until we reached 1ulu road and turn left. Then someone came out from the side gate but we were too slow to get to it and had to walk to the main gate instead.

When reached, there were a few people there already like liang, lake and junhe. So there is bbq and lake as usual with his theory of not black = not cooked. OMG. haha! About 8plus they went up and left with Sean, Dean and me cooking the food. Then later Amos came down with liang and **, they turned the other way while amos came and meet us at the pit. They(liang and **) went for a romantic stroll. They went for quite long sia..lolz..not bad ah..under the cloudy moonless night, they stroll to SOMEWHERE, of course no one know what they did. O.o hm..

As dean decided to stay, I also decide to stay to watch live telecast of Man U match and Chelsea's match. It was great seeing how Man U score 3goals. Cristiano Ronaldo was superb! He was probably the most active player in Man U for that night. Then it was chelsea's match. I guessed waiwan was right that wigan gained a mental advantage by scoring just before half time. And it was even better to see them dominate the second half and they eventually pull back level. Then the lucky tyco whatever you call them chelsea again tycolly shoot in a goal. Come on la, when will their luck ever run out? Tyco champions.

Finally blogger is not lag for today. Hasn't been blogging lately because everytime I want blog, blogger takes ages to load so didn't manage to blog. Yup, hm..went to jt's church event yesterday. Didn't get to enjoy the food afterall I had to go home for dinner =(

Anyway, what I'm going to say below is just something I don't understand, nothing to do with disrupting religious harmony. Yesterday's jt's event was sort of the 2nd church christmas party I went in my life. It started out well with some live band songs and a skit..of course with meaningful meanings behind it. That I have nothing to say for the actors and actresses inside were great. JT was fast! zooommm..hm..but the part on asking people to tell their real life experiences which I believe is very hurting for each and everyone of them, I don't really get it. No offence, really. And if someone were to share their real life experience, why do they have to read off from a 'script'? hm..nevertheless, I still respect every religion and I think the muslims present were fantastic too, given that they didn't leave while listening to all the stuffs about Jesus. I believe if it was at a muslim country, they would have left straight away. Thanks Jt for inviting us to your event, great experience but sorry for leaving early. Yup.

I don't want go back school. I am used to all-boys culture. haha..and I think mass dance is quite dumb la..I don't see the fun in dancing plus I have no interest at all in jumping around..hm..I bet if the principal were to see this, i sure get kick out, so i'm not going to mention wat jc I'm going..lolz..

Results for the Standard Chartered Marathon 2006 are out! Not bad for a 1st-timer even though I didn't do under 1hour. My timing is 1:06:35.

Amos did better, 1:05:18. He started off much faster than me while I started off real slowly. Sometimes it was hard to run when there are many people infront of you blocking your way, but to tell the truth, the feeling of overtaking people even though you know that you are running real slowly is good. Not suaning people la, not being proud also, but because there are so many people for you to overtake especially if you started in the middle of the crowd, unless you have a special lane, if not, even the fastest runner will not be able to finish 1st because some people will just stop and you will have to suddenly turn to avoid collisions. So it was a tiring affair trying to avoid people while 'eating' into opposite direction lanes to overtake and cutting back just in time to avoid another collisions with the people on the opposite direction.

Hm, as I said before the race, my aim is to complete the distance and just try my best for the timing, whether good or bad, so long as I have completed the distance, I have no regrets. Yeah.

I feel a sense of achievement, I am so proud of myself. I completed my longest run ever, 10km. Previously, my longest distance was only 7+ km. So I am quite surprised that I actually managed to complete the run without stopping.

Got up at 4.30am and ate breakfast then my senior who is also running fetched me there after that. We reached at about 6am. My earliest run ever too! So did some warm-ups, and waited for 7am to come.

7am: Race starts

1st km: Left side Stitch occurs, started off real slowly.
2nd km: Managed to run off stitch, getting into jogging pace
3-5km: The best part of the run, shady trees, warm-up run finish, muscles working at optinum condition but right side stitch occur at 4km mark.
Turning point(5km): Still able to go, but thinking of going back makes me feel sian
6km: Starting to feel tired, stitch never goes off, trying hard to prevent it from worsening
7km: Thinking of stopping, but determination to complete my longest race without stopping took me further
8km: No longer feel like stopping, numbness took over me, mind over body. Now running in the roads between the tall builings of the city centre.
9km: Didn't really see the 9km mark though, but I know finishing line was nearing.
9.95km: Dash for finishing line!
10km: Finish!!! Felt like vomitting the 1st 2steps after finishing, but was ok after that. My stitch still presents, but was lucky it didn't worsen.

Sense of achievement, unbelievable took over me. I managed to complete 10km!=) Sleep was next! Fancy getting up at 4.30!lolz..
