Finally done with photog or at least it's official but know still got some stuffs to settle. Looking back, it was actually quite fun yet sucky to be in the exco. All the experiences will be registered in the memory just like my sec school years. Overall the camp went quite ok except with changes here and there. I would thank the seniors for coming back and help us even though some times some of us may not agree with the suggestions. But nevertheless, without the seniors' guidance, we may have solve problems in slower way. Never regretted joining photog cause it's really not like any other clubs. It is much more demanding doing service to the school. Oh well, I've learn from this camp that I'm studying in RJC (ie. Restricions JC). *pro*

Oh well, spent yesterday with you know who. *haha* Tomorrow's photog camp. Honestly, I do not wish to go even though I am the organiser. 1stly, cause I've been through a number of camps in secondary school and thus feel that the activities that I had was much more interesting than what we have planned. No offense here, but partly is because there are girls and so there are restrictions as to what we can do. And also, because we are not a sports club, so some people are not happy with sporty activities. So actually, a number of games are quite like orientation style. Of course I'm not putting my own club down, photog is NOT slack ok! But I seriously hope the members will be more participative and make the whole camp more interesting. Running a camp is just like running a school. The participants are the students. If the participants don't participate enthusiastically, then the camp will be boring. Same for school.

Woke up early in the morning today and went for the national runway skating and cycling 2008 at Paya Lebar airbase. It's an annual event but it's my first time joining it. Reached at about 8plus and after going past the start point, the runway began. It seems so long and even though the road was wide (for the planes), it was still quite easy to bang into other people if you weren't careful. After the 1st turning point (end of runway), the distance traveled was only 3km! I signed up for the 15km route! Well, nothing much happen along the way except that many cyclists sped past me making me feel so slow. After the end, we didn't even wait for the lucky draw and cycled off first. Though tiring, but it was a great experience, how often do you get to cycle on the runway? Once year. If only I had brought a camera along, *arggh* Tired, my thigh aching now, no mood to study=x In fact, I haven't even started studying=(

Yesterday was Mardi Gras, nothing much to comment except that I finally know where our $5 'admission tickets' went. *hm* Holidays have started, or rather torture days have started. Right after this break from school, we have our mid yr exams and everything after this month will fly past and then we are considered to be grown up adults. The girls go to University while the guys with their shaved head will take part in the green movement. I've got a feeling that I'll flung my A's just like how I did have before my O's, and I must say, my instincts has never failed me before. I think I might not even secure a place in the University. Never mind, will try and study. I can't believe that I was studying harder for O's than now. *arrghh*

A short post still cause very tired. Yesterday was college day, nothing much since I was only there for the photog exhibition. After that went out with wr and tried out kfc's fish zinger burger. Ok la, not that bad, the meat was obviously softer but the taste is about the same since it's the same seasoning. Went to walk the newly open southern ridges paths. From Marang trail up to Mt Faber, passing by the Jewel box through the Faber walk and to Henderson Waves finally turning back at the start of Hilltop walk. Completed a little less than half the 9km distance. Quick nice, there are some breathtaking views such as one spot where I past and said it was a good place to take photos and while walking back, saw 2photographers taking photos at exactly the spot. Great minds think alike hur. *haha* Nice view cause from there you can see the CBD area but also HDB flats so it is sort of a combination of city life and residential life. The Henderson Waves was nice, the clam shell structures had no roofs so we could lie down like many other people and look the cloudless sky and the bright moon=) One thing I dislike about is the map provided. They are so out of proportion! On the map it seems very long but the actual distance is very short. And a map located at a turn, shows the turn only happening at a bit of distance ahead. Other than that, good work! Just hope they don't start collecting entrance fees etc. As you know, it's pay and pay.

2-0!!!! I hear the roars and cheers round my neighbourhood at about 10+ I heard it again at 11+, woot! What else can I say?! The better news came after Bolton equalised! But the victory would have been much sweeter to let Chelsea win and still lose the title. *oops* I so evil. Still, a win is a win. Avram gRANT would have nothing to say that goal difference is unfair and that need to have a face off if both end level on points since Chelsea has lost by 2points. But must concede that Chelsea has been good this season too. That explains why they are contending for the title and not Man U. I've no choice but to admire Derby for their record breaking season. *oops* Another evil me. Whee! MANCHESTER UNITED IS THE CHAMPION for SEASON 07/08!!! Monday blues to Chelsea fans, sorry!

I'm sorry, another ranting post.

Oh well, I wonder if Mrs Loke needs to write a REFLECTION letter to our great DM for her speech this morning. I think she should but she probably didn't need to 1) She's the P, greater than our great DM. 2) She probably didn't present to Mr Tong 1st so there is no inconsistency involve in her speech. But I still think she needs to write since she caused much more 'murmuring' in the crowd compared to the 'inconsistency' incident. She sure got everyone talking about it. For TJCians out there who still don't know what's happening, 1) you're not at the assembly 2) you are probably waiting to see our great DM and standing at the gate, therefore you didn't hear (obviously you're late) 3) you just can't be bothered with morning announcements. Our P mixed up TJ with TK (her former school).

Anyway, according to Davin, NJ got a day off today as last Saturday was their college day. TJ'c college day is next Saturday, will there be a day off? Or even a half day off? I'm sceptical about it. Even when we spend our precious family day morning helping to clear newspaper for people, we merely got a 1st period off. What's this? Well, some may argue that it's for the community etc. I agree, but is there a need to make it compulsory? Is there a need for you to do a make up CIP just because you didn't go even when you produced MC? If it's not a school event but a Leo club event, why make it compulsory? I just feel that my school treats us like primary school kids. If there's any offending part, please tell me and I'll remove accordingly.

They lock the school gates at 8pm despite knowing that a number of people are still having their CCAs. They install a rotating gate that rotates in 1direction (like condo) but it's lock after 8. What's the point of installing then?-.- And when students have to climb gate out, the teachers question them what are they doing so late in school. I don't know, it's like they want us to excel in this and that, but they are not providing much chance for us to do it. If you want us to study, release us earlier instead of having empty periods here and there. When people train harder for their CCAs, they are locked in the school, how then will they improve when the support given is so minimal? My point is not to leave the main gate open, but at least the rotating gates should be open since it can be set rotating in 1direction. This is what I've experienced today. I'm tired.
