Woot! Electrical tariffs up by 22%! Gahmen will be able to raise more revenue and build better infrastructure (better F1 tracks) to attract tourists=) Anyway, I find the figures that the average 4room household pays only around $100 abit too low for me to believe. Because I live in a 4room flat and I don't have aircon, neither do I leave my com on, neither do we switch on the lights unnecessarily, neither do we bath exceptionally long to drive up the heater bills and the only thing that's kept running is our refrigerator but still, the bill adds up to about $180. It's weird to see that even when we didn't do much change to our way of life, our bills can jump by such a big percentage even before the increase. I wonder what happens when the next bill comes. It'll probably go past $200 (the highest in my life so far in this house). I wonder next time when I have a house in Singapore without aircon, how high would my bills be? $400? (At the rate it's increasing, impossible is nothing)
