This morning there's a fire broke out just down the road. Was woken up by the sirens of the fire engines. I thought I had a dream that a bus crash and had fire then the fire engines came then I realised that there's a real fire but nothing to do with bus crashing. Just my imagination. Oh well, couldn't see the fire, only saw thick thick smoke rising from the shophouses.
Anyway, I'm so disappointed with the upgrading of my estate here. They chopped down almost every tree and replace with concrete pavements. Worst still, those places are places that nobody would walk so I don't get it. Even my parents say that they are crazy to cut down the trees and that it's going to be hotter without the trees. So this is what you call upgrade when you degrade the environment. Now I know why the environment is in this state and nature has the rights of revenging it on us. Sorry for being extreme in the following statement - humans are digging their own graves by ignoring the environment. I believe one day, nature would take everything back that it has given us (even our lives) because we have abuse it. It's a privilege, not a right.
